A Proud Papa Moment

HHBandPardon me for a moment while I brag about my daughter Lauren…

A couple of weeks ago Lauren auditioned for the nationally recognized  Highland High School Marching Band.

The competition is tough, and not many incoming freshmen are accepted.

Yesterday Lauren was thrilled to find out she was accepted and will be joining the Highland Hawks Marching Band this fall as a clarinet player.

I’m so proud of her. She’s quite the musician, and works very hard. She set her eyes on this goal and achieved it.

Congrats Lauren!

I am convinced that it takes a certain intelligence to be a good musician. It speaks well of your daughter and bodes well for her future.
