Reader comments are encouraged! But please, be civil. This does not mean you have to agree with anything we say here. In fact, we welcome debate and encourage people to express what and how they feel.
Please leave your real name. Do not use “keywords” as your commenter name — this is spammy and a tactic employed by paid blog commenters. If you are concerned about privacy, then use a pseudonym (John Doe, Betty Sue, first name only, etc). But please, no keyword stuffed names. More on this topic here.
Spam is not tolerated on this blog. We loath spam. There are multiple spam filters in place here, but occasionally something slips through. When we find them, they will be deleted. In addition to the “typical” spam of things such as prescription medication, porn and deeply discounted software, blatant self-promotion and advertising will not be tolerated. We understand the need to advertise a business or product. Heck, some will argue that this blog is nothing but advertising. But then again, it is our blog and our business… 😉 I don’t want to be put in a position of determining whose advertising should be here and whose should not. We will *occasionally* edit a comment, but will *never* change its intent. The only thing we will edit a comment for is format, and then only if it “breaks” the blog display. We will also edit the occasional URL to “hot link” it for the convenience of other readers. Strong language may be edited — kids read here. If you drop the F bomb, you will be deleted. Let’s keep it off the blog, please. “Less intense” words are OK on occasion.
