GolfingMyWay.com launched today.
The site promises info / search on 18,000 golf courses, a “social network” for golfing enthusiasts, a place to record your rounds, stats tracking and more. (details on features)
According to the site you can:
- Create a personal profile
- Search golf courses all over the country
- Upload photos and videos of your golf adventures
- Track your statistics by inputting your recent rounds
- Get a break down of your scoring trends
- Display and rate your golf equipment and see what other users think of their gear
One nifty feature will allow you to upload a video of your swing that other site members can critique and offer help to fix those swing glitches.
I suspect if I uploaded a video of my swing, the site would implode.
I was able to create a member account (it’s free) in under a minute. Annoyingly, the membership form didn’t work in Firefox, and there was no submit button displayed in Internet Explorer, but just completing the form and hitting “Enter” did the trick. (The site is reporting that some are having trouble registering. Should be fixed shortly.)
If you are a golfer, this one may be worth checking out.

I’ll have to pass this on to my Jay…he is such an avid golfer!
His license plate is +Golf+…think he loves the game?
Golfing is a way of life for many here in Florida and we have some great courses and golf communities. I think many people would enjoy this type of service.
