Candace Robinson, a HomeSmart agent in Gilbert, has spooled up what looks like a promising group — The AZ Real Estate Blogging Network.

Several real estate bloggers from the ActiveRain network will be talking, and many others will be chatting and networking at what Candace (and I) hope will be a monthly event.

Here are the details for this kick-off event:

When: Thursday, April 24. 9:00– 10:30am
Where: Paradise Bakery – San Tan Mall. Gilbert, AZ. (NE corner Williams Field & San Tan Parkway (Greenfield)

RSVP to Candace at 480–202–3558.

More info can be found here and here.

Without fail, every time I’ve met up with other industry bloggers it has been educational and fun. This won’t be any different. I’m not really involved in ActiveRain any more, but these look like good folks and this should be a great event.

We always appreciate your comments! Phoenix Real Estate Guy uses two commenting systems, Facebook and LiveFyre. LiveFyre is the most robust system (and easy to use!). It allows you to login with Twitter, Facebook, Google+ LinkedIn, OpenId, LiveFyre and as a "Guest". I recommend getting a LiveFyre account, it has some great features (just click the LiveFyre button when you write your comment).

BLOG COMMENT POLICY: We respectfully ask that you use your real name (first name only is fine) and not use keywords (Why no keywords?). The only real "comment rules" are be civil -- no personal attacks -- and no advertising. (See the full comment policy here). Opinion and debate are welcome, but attack the idea, not the person.

Hey Jay --

Can you share with your readers that you are going to be teaching a class on Friday June 20th and the subject matter?

That's why I like living in Las Vegas. Most of those another state far-far away events end up here!

Sounds like a great way to network and get to know AZ Real Estate Bloggers. It's nice to see something local for once - seems like everything is always in another state far-far away.

Jonathan, I would be forever grateful and pay back the debt if you wanted to rise and shine early Thursday morning and adorn us with your company. Hey I would even buy you a warm fuzzy latte to get you going too! Come on over, it's not that early for rush hour that time of day!! I did it for 11 years to and from Phoenix all too often. Hope you change your mind! Candace

JD - if you lived in a real town like Gilbert, that wouldn't be a problem. ;)

Lots of great houses here, with mountain views even. I know a couple of wonderful agents that can find you the perfect home....

In all seriousness, I'm sure Candace (the Queen Organizer) will see this and take note.

I'd love to attend but 9 a.m. in Gilbert? No way to get there through rush hour without leaving the house at 5:30.

Jay -

Thanks for spreading the word. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone!

Thanks Jay - Looking forward to learning, sharing and growing with this networking group! Especially picking your brain and all your wisdom! See you Thursday...
