Bad Real Estate Photography: Norm Hits RealtyTimes.com

Bad photos in listings have been a pet peeve of mine for as long as I can remember. (Most recently blogged here.)

And I am not alone. Norm Fisher, the Saskatoon blogger I wrote about just a week ago has a brilliant little virtual tour on his web site that showcases some of the best of the worst. 

Apparently I'm not the only one that thought Norm's tour was brilliant. Blanche Evans, the editor of Realty Times, penned a nifty article featuring the now famous Norm Fisher and his virtual tirade against lousy listing photography. Check it out.

Jeepers Norm, I didn't know when we had breakfast that you were going to be so stinking famous! I should have asked for an autographed 8×10 full color glossy print! :)

Jay, great post!

Isn't it amazing how we continue to be amazed by some of our colleagues incompetence. Worse, if I was a seller of a million dollar home, wouldn't I inspect what kind of marketing my agent is doing? Ask for their marketing plan?

I've never seen an intelligent seller choose a really bad agent have you?

As Forrest says, "Stupid is as stupid does."

I saw that tour awhile back. It's the talk of the Virtual Tour industry too (RealTourVision) because it's hilarious, well done Norm!

I know some of you guys are stuck on shooting photos yourselves to save money so if you're are in the phoenix metro area, I will gladly help you with tips on shooting good pictures and technology tips for when the photo didn't turn out the way you wanted, we might be able to save it.(at no cost of course to phoenixrealestateguy people only)
