Just what I need, another blog to contribute to…
This one has been in the works for awhile, but was only announced today.
HGTV is starting a blog, FrontDoor Unlocked.
It’s new, and should prove interesting. HGTV is of course, one of (if not the) largest networks dedicated to home and lifestyle programs, web sites, and more. They are, “America’s leader in home and lifestyle programming”.
FrontDoor is the Scripps Network’s latest adventure. There are home listings and oodles of home buying and selling info available. And promises of more to come.
The blog is evolving, and l will likely morph over time into who knows what. I’m honored to have been asked to contribute and be a member of their “Bloggers Council”.
What are the benefits to me? Another spot in the blogging world to learn and share. And you get to meet cool people, like Sabrina Soto, the host of HGTV’s Get It Sold.

Congratulations! Did you “Test Your TV Presence” while at the booth? Will we see you live on HGTV? The man behind the blog….
I’ve met Sabrina about 7 years ago. She’s awesome. I’ve known her for awhile. I’m so excited for her doing “Get It Sold”. Needless to say, she looks good!
I guess next time I see you I will have to ask for an autograph- since I consider HGTV must see TV, I hope they will feature you or better yet, maybe you will get your own show!! Congrats

Jay — *wink* right back at you! Nice shot of the two of you… but I am going to make a wager on that claim… I think she will give you a run for your money! Congrats my friend on yet another blog to contribute too, but then again, who doesn’t want to hear from you. Perhaps I can get your autograph soon before you get too famous..
HGTV….that is my wifes TV obsession. Will have to check it out. Congrats on the additional exposure!
I have no idea where you find time for all the blogs. My theory is that there are multiple identical Jays. Anyway keep up the great informative posts here and elsewhere around the net.

Two answers Mike… I don’t sleep much (really! about 5 hours a day max) and more importantly, my lovely bride does the bulk of the direct client work — supplemented by our fabulous agents. I’m really just the writing, blogging techy web guy…
Wait — third role you missed, don’t you sign all the contracts? Mr. Broker?
Well of course I do Candace. Thanks to the miracle that is Docusign (and the *fabulous*, wickedly smart and expert agents in our brokerage) that task really doesn’t take much time.
And once I can sweet talk Francy into going to brokers classes…..
