I participate in a Bank of America Securities monthly survey of real estate agents. They ask a variety of questions on market conditions and builders, then compile those results. 3,800 agents responded in November (they didn’t disclose the response rate, nor the number of agents in each area that were surveyed and responded — which would have been nice to know).
Results are both summarized and detailed for 39 different markets. Data is normalized and indexed. Historical data back to June 2005 is included for several factors such as pricing, inventory, builder’s incentives, buyer traffic, etc.
The results are in this PDF file. It’s 61 pages (about 500KB) so give it some time to download.
Interesting stuff…
