Carnival of Real Estate Numero 32

Approximately 500 miles due north of our humble abode lies Salt Lake City. Nigel Swaby runs the Salt Lake Real Estate Blog and was the host of this weeks Carnival of Real Estate.

As usual, there is some fine reading to be had. And be sure to check out Nigel’s other stuff while you are there.

We’re hosting next weeks Carnival. I’d fully intended to do a March Madness theme, but Nigel shamelessly (and magically) swiped that notion. Entries are due by March 11 at the Carnival of Real Estate site.

I need a new theme idea. Let’s see…. March 11 is the day most of the country springs forward into Daylight Savings Time (we don’t observe DST in Arizona. Good thing too as I’ll need that extra hour for this little endeavor). It also happens to be the one year anniversary of Slobodan Milosevic being found dead in his jail cell in the Hague. And it’s Lithuanian Independence Day. The 21st anniversary of the NFL adopting instant replay falls on March 11 as well. Maybe I can find a way to tie all those events together.

I bet you can hardly wait for that…

I’m going to try something *completely* different (for me). I’m not going to read ANY real estate weblogs this week. I don’t want to be unduly influenced by any pre-judgment day contemplation. Note I said I’m going to TRY. Success will depend on the severity of the withdrawal symptoms.

We always appreciate your comments! Phoenix Real Estate Guy uses two commenting systems, Facebook and LiveFyre. LiveFyre is the most robust system (and easy to use!). It allows you to login with Twitter, Facebook, Google+ LinkedIn, OpenId, LiveFyre and as a "Guest". I recommend getting a LiveFyre account, it has some great features (just click the LiveFyre button when you write your comment).

BLOG COMMENT POLICY: We respectfully ask that you use your real name (first name only is fine) and not use keywords (Why no keywords?). The only real "comment rules" are be civil -- no personal attacks -- and no advertising. (See the full comment policy here). Opinion and debate are welcome, but attack the idea, not the person.
