Matt Heaton, Head Geek at ActiveRain and an all around swell guy has the 22nd edition of the Carnival of Real Estate posted.

I’m a HUGE fan of Active Rain, have been since the beginning (or very close to it). AR has a TON of great content, and there are some super people there. It’s quite the little growing large community. But fair warning, it’s *highly* addictive!

If you’re a real estate professional (it’s NOT limited to agents) you should join the network. It’s free, an incredible source info, and I assure you that you’ll meet new friends and maybe run across some old ones.

Here’s the list o’ winners!

And the winner is…

Brian Brady with his lighthearted post The Six Stages of the Long-Term Real Estate Play on his blog Musings about Money.

The rest of the top ten:

Michael Price’s post Radical Transparency in Real Estate discusses the how transparency of information is creating a “brave new world of real estate”.

Kevin Boer at Three Oceans Real Estate gives his take on Zillow’s latest product launch from three different perspectives, the old school agent, the consumer, and the next generation real estate agent in his post Wow! You leave for an hour and Zillow changes the World!

Gerhard Ade on his blog Seattle Tattle, Seattle Battle provides a great, well written analogy of the real estate transaction to a theatre production in Real Estate Theater.

An “open mike” post by Evan Kane Broker Gets MLS Grief For Listing $1 House For Sale over at the Sellsius Real Estate Blog provides and interesting description and thoughts on one brokers attempt to generate more attention for his listings.

On Toby Boyce’s blog Sadie’s Take on Delaware Ohio (Sadie is his one year old boxer), When is TMI … Well TMI? discusses the fact that consumers are bombarded with tons of information, but often don’t know how to process it.

In yet another post about everybody’s favorite blogging subject Zillow, Jonathan Daulton writes Zillow Listings – The first taste is free on his Phoenix Arizona Real Estate Blog.

Elizabeth Weintraub over at The Real Estate Tomato writes her top 10 list of What Sellers & Buyers Expect From a Real Estate Agent

John Novak on his Henderson Nevada Real Estate Blog writes Don’t take it personally … It is what it is to discusses that seller’s agents can not control the market but can control the marketing, and they need to make this clear to sellers.

Blogging guru Mary McKnight over at RSS Pieces gives some great tips on how realtors can use blogging to help connect with the consumers and ultimately generate real leads and business in How to write a blog that generates leads

Bonus Zillow Post

When I had finally gotten the list of posts down to eleven, I noticed there were three posts about Zillow.  I didn’t want to have three posts on the same subject in the top ten, so I resorted to a good old fashion coin toss.  If it is good enough for deciding elections and superbowl kickoffs it’s good enough for me.  Greg Swan of the BloodHound Blog came up just short with his great post 2006 is the Year of Zillow.

Thanks for the post, Jay. That little light-hearted story was modeled after Litchfield Park; my old hometown
