Ahhh, Spring Training… Nothing beats it. Cheap ticket prices, intimate surroundings, typically stellar weather. Baseball at its finest. Spring training games begin in the “Cactus League” on Wednesday, February 27 with multiple games every day through March 27. Francy and I ventured into the desert yesterday for a "sign check". The weather has been pretty rough lately, and we figured some of our signs were likely in disrepair.It was a stunningly beautiful day in the high Sonoran desert....I should have put Francy next to one of these saguaro for scale. My Dad and wife were visiting from Puyallup, WA last week (neat new to me Puyallup RE blog). We thought we’d take them to the quintessential Phoenix tourist eatery, Rustler’s Rooste.
