They're afraid of having a spate of a few hundred of those 3-worded comments like "good post" or "keep up the good work" kinda thing. maxidus

I am an avid promotor of the Dofollow Movement! We shall conquer. To me, nofollow is opression, trying to silence people from leaving what THEY consider spam. What they think is spam and what I consider spam may be two entirely different things. If you don’t like my comment, thinking its spam, then scroll past it! Is that so hard?

Some people are afraid that there will be more comment spams after putting up "you comment I follow" or "comment/keyword-luv". They're afraid of having a spate of a few hundred of those 3-worded comments like "good post" or "keep up the good work" kinda thing. What i find on my personal blog, really is that i indeed have a little more of such comments, but it really encouraged more quality comments to emerge. It's a little pain for a huge gain -- to be able to know what our readers think and feel about what we write. Most readers do not leave comments, and if we want to encourage readers who are also webmasters to leave comments, this may be the best thing we can do.

Hmmm... judging by Steve's reply/quote in his comment, that one needs a little work. I'm going to turn that off until I have some time to work on it.
