Advertise on Phoenix Real Estate Guy!

Greetings potential advertisers!

You can “rent” a 125 x 125 block of space on the Phoenix Real Estate Guy blog.

Fees are $100/month, 3 months minimum (all somewhat negotiable, I’m easy to work with!) with discounts for longer terms. A maximum of six ad spaces will be sold, with three displayed at one time (random rotation ensures equal exposure and placement).

Phoenix Real Estate Guy is a widely read real estate web log. Read by real estate professionals from across the world, and by local real estate consumers in the Phoenix Metro area, an ad on Phoenix Real Estate Guy will be seen by thousands of people a month. Ads will be placed on all pages with the large vertical sidebar (home page, individual post pages and other menu pages. The exception is the search MLS page– which has no sidebars).

Current Readership/Viewer statistics (for the 30 day period of Nov 28, 2008 – Dec 28 – 2008):

Alexa Rank (for what that’s worth…): 63,107 as of Dec 28, 2008.
Compete Rank: 63,271 as of Dec 28, 2008

UPDATE 6/29: I’ve installed analytic tracking software to track impressions and click-troughs. This can be shared with advertisers upon request.

I reserve the right to limit advertisers to who I feel will be beneficial to my readership. You will be responsible for creating your own 125 x 125 graphic. Upon approval and payment (I can invoice via PayPal) I will link it to whatever page you desire, as long as it doesn’t promote any illegal activity, pornography, or prescription drug site. If I decline to host your ad, please don’t be offended. I am picky about what gets displayed here and do not intend to advertise for the sake of money. My readership’s interest will always come first.

Ads links will be “nofollowed” – this is for increased SEO reasons. (The better this blog performs in search engines, the more viewers your ad will have!) Once every 4 – 6 weeks we will post a “thanks to our advertisers” post with “dofollow” links — providing you the best of both worlds.

Local real estate agents/brokers need not apply unless you have a very significant marketing budget ;) . After all, this blog is how I generate the vast majority of my real estate clients.

To further our goal of providing reliable (and yes, occasionally useless) information to the public, we accept advertising and sponsorship under very strict guidelines. We will refuse any advertisement that we believe is incompatible with our goal and/or does not have our readership’s interests in mind. The presence of an ad on our site does not imply endorsement of the advertised company or product. Advertisers and sponsors must not make unsubstantiated claims or suggest that the Phoenix Real Estate Guy weblog or any of its contributors has endorsed a product or service. Advertising is not targeted to individual users but may be placed on the site adjacent to content related to advertiser or sponsor interest.

PhoenixRealEstateGuy.com maintains a distinct separation between advertising content and editorial content. All advertising content on PhoenixRealEstateGuy.com is clearly labeled as an advertisement. Sponsored areas of the site are labeled as such, and the sponsoring organizations are identified.

Well why do you exclude mortgage brokers? I thought we are the most relevant people.

George – I don’t exclude mortgage brokers from advertising here. I exclude real estate brokers. Sorry if that wasn’t clear.
