Current “Phoenix Area” Listings and Sales Stats

by Jay - The Phoenix Real Estate Guy on November 26, 2006

Note: Data pulled directly from the Arizona Regional Multiple Listing Service (ARMLS) on Nov 26, 2006 10:21am

Data includes (unless noted): Single Family Homes (SFH), condos/townhomes, mobile/mfg homes and timeshares
Current active listings: 41,149 (47,069 on 9/9/2006)
Current “AWC” (Active With Contingencies) Listings: 804

November 2006 Closings to Date: 3,731

Single Family Homes ONLY:
Active Listings: 37,932 (39,451 of 9/9/2006)
Nov Closings to Date: 3,093

LAND ONLY DATA:
Active Listings: 10,930
AWC Listings: 30
Nov 2006 Closings to Date: 160

Coverage: ARMLS covers all of Maricopa County and part of Pinal County. In addition, there are “out of area” listings included. For those not familiar with the Phoenix area, some of the ARMLS coverage is quite far from Phoenix and could hardly be considered “Phoenix Area”. But for the sake of time and consistency, I include all of the ARMLS coverage area in the above stats. If anyone would like current ARMLS data for a specific area of Phoenix, drop a comment and I’ll see what I can do.
