I always enjoy reading deeply linked blogs. I think it adds credibility to a post (generally speaking) and I like being able to venture off to new places.
I’ve always tried to link where possible. And a few have commented positively about some deeply linked posts here, for which I am grateful.
But today, I found the Mother of Deeply Linked blog posts. Tino Buntic has a blog entry with 2,215 anchor text links in it. That’s Tino’s count, and I’ll take his word for it.
Not only does every word link to a blog or web site, so does every punctuation mark! Every period, comma, apostrophe, whatever. And get this… the links seem to actually make sense. This isn’t just random linkage. For example, the word “science” links to sciencefriday.com. The word “readers” links to a reading skills blog. “Grade” links to a teachers blog. You get the drift.
Apparently Tino has no life.
It’s actually quite a remarkable feat, one that Tino said took him 35 hours to put together. The only fault I could find was he didn’t include Phoenix’s best real estate blog, but I think we can forgive him for that. 🙂
Well done Tino! (And if you happen to read this, the post doesn’t display well in my Firefox browser. You have to scroll WAY down, past the sidebars to see the post. Looks fine in IE).
