Thank YOU Juliet, and thanks to First American for sponsoring. I love talking about blogging (can ya tell?) and would be glad to do it again. (Social Networking too)

Curtis - glad it helped. Especially if it helps out folks in my adopted home town of Austin! (I lived there for 20 years)

Thanks for teaching the class Jay! I really enjoyed it and we appreciate you taking time out of your very busy schedule. I can't imagine all the posts that went un-responded-to during classtime!

@Ben - yeah, kinda creepy

@Dru - share away! Glad you found it of some use.

@Sara - fabulous question! It's not a seasonal thing. I can attribute some of the traffic increase in Dec 07 to a series of articles about a management shakeup at Point2 agent. Some, but nowhere near all of the increase in Jan 2008 was due to one post on Superbowl parties. For whatever reason it ranked very well for searches related to "what time does the Superbowl start?" traffic doubled for a few days around that. But of course no one looked at or cared about that post afterwards.

Since Day 1, the blog traffic has always seemed to grow steadily, and then just surge occasionally. The interesting thing is when it surges, it seems to sustain that level, then grow some, then surge again. I really don't know exactly why....

@Dental - adapt at will. Good luck with it!

@Candace - you're nuts. Thanks for the kind words! I'll get something over on azrealestateblogs.com as soon as I can!

Jay - I see you found an avenue to get your Powerpoint presentation up online. Great job! Perhaps you can share it on the AZREBN and link back here if you like, is that the way that works best? Rookie Blogger here! I attended the class and it was F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C!! This is what I learned:
Francy does exist and she is not a virtual perosn, Jay gets doesn't sleep well (gee go figure), Jay is the 'sexiest realtor in phoenix", there is a great desire to learn about blogging, the rest is a secret, if you want to know you have to attend one of Jay's classes! Oh-- and Jay Thompson knows what he is talking about! Awesome class!

Did you think four years ago that you be teaching a class on blogging? :) I bet it was a great class.

On your presentation, you display your traffic numbers. From Dec 07 to Jan 08 you show a significant growth in numbers. Is this just seasonal, or did you do something to cause this happen?
