[...] That’s 43-acres of land at a total of $510 million. I though our good friend Jay Thompson was up to something when he posted an article on his blog where a real estate developer in Pinal County, Arizona had purchased 1,010 acres (nearly 58K/acre) for a total of $58.6 million dollars which according to Jay could be worth as much as $10,208,000,000 but after reading how much the Ocean Land Investment Group paid for that 43 acre mobile home park, I can only wonder how much the developer is hoping to get out of that little park.
I won't drive to Wickenburg. I won't drive to Apache Junction (that could change). I've worked in Queen Creek (never again!). I know I have a future in Buckeye. But everywhere I go in this Valley, constuction is ongoing. Rhodes is building 100,000 houses in Mohave County -- not counting all the work they're doing in Nevada. The short-term will be what it is. The long-term is growth.

But Jay, how could this developer possibly do this, when it's as obvious as the nose on your face prices are about to crash?

I guess they'll just have to learn the hard way.
