I just got back from the game. Every play mattered and could have changed the outcome. An exciting game!
Kelly, there’s always basketball.

Funniest part had to be watching my Dad almost get into a fight … I won’t say how close I was, but don’t come into my section with a ticket for another and be rude to my mother when she’s trying to help.
Second most enjoyable part was the forlorn looks on the UA band as they sat in the stands a full 40 minutes after the game was over.
Apparently they’re not all in the basketball pep band. Sucks to be them.
Here’s voting for a 5-year extension for Stoops … Mike, not Bob.

I don’t think we should kick Kelley while she’s down. I think instead we should dance on her grave. She much prefers dancing.

Sorry to miss all the fun here, I’ve been down with the stomach flu today. Fitting, no?
With the claimed “vast superiority” of ASU, ya’ll didn’t win by much. Then again, UA was playing by little known old football rules that half the team has to touch an opponent before he can be tackled to the ground.
Luckily for us all, the general betterness of Tucson over your festering sinkhole has nothing to do with collegiate sports. Although it’s true - basketball is coming… Hopefully, the team can get beyond the Lute drama and just play good ball.

Sorry to hear you’re feeling poorly Kelley. Out of respect for you the person, I shall refrain from jokes like, “I’d be sick too if my alma mater had lost 7 of the last 9.”
I do hope you feel better. Seriously!
“Hopefully, the team can get beyond the Lute drama and just play good ball.”
I strongly suspect they will.
Heck, I didn’t got to UA or ASU. I’m not even really a Phoenician. I’m a transplanted Texan. But I gotta root for the home team (unless it’s the Cardinals). That, and the wife was born and raised here…. she’s not too big on UA.

With the announcement of ASU playing Texas in the Holiday Bowl - we are a house divided. Living in Austin for nine years doesn’t change my life time of support for ASU. The “Horns” are going to be “hooked” by the Sun Devil’s pitch fork.

Pay no attention to the Sun Devil above. Clearly she has lost her mind.

Jay-
I’ll refrain from the “maybe it was the rotten egg your team layed” comment as well. Hope you are feeling better today, Kelley.
