I am on an adjustable rate & unable to negotiate a lesser rate/fixed with lender. I would like to know if it would be easier for me if I just let them forclose on my home & just rent another home until I can get back on my feet & buy a home later. I really need a place to live because I am a caregiver for my mother & brother in my home. I just can't afford the high house payments with an adjustable rates & no one to help negotiate the lower interest & lower affordable home payments. What should I do? They want to redo loans and people say banks will not let them. Rate freeze will not help only prolong all of it. Now they want to buy the loans after they gave billions to banks who put it into bonds makes no sense to me at all. I can not figure out half the ideas they come up with. If you look at the numbers the actual loans do not add up to the bailout. Seems like it was more leverage by the banks than the actual loans them self.
