Fortune Cookie

I got this in a fortune cookie today.

Blogger humor resulted in me thinking it was hilarious, and I laughed out loud right there in the middle of the Chinese buffet.

People looked at me like I’d lost my mind.

For whatever reason this got me to wondering just how they get these things inside the cookie.

Fortunately, Google and the Library of Congress came to the rescue with this great article, “How do fortunes get inside of fortune cookies?

You can’t tell me you knew that the Kitamura FCM-8006W fortune cookie making machine can produce 8,000 fortune cookies an hour.

See what you can learn here? ;)

8,000 fortune cookies in an hour? Wow! And I wonder what the odds are that you would get the one that says "No One Reads Your Blog", lol!

Some fortune cookie! LOL! This was hilarious. I really haven't trusted fortune cookies.

how funny. are blogs so common now that they are in fortune cookies?? well I guess so since you got one.

Your fortune begs the question, "How did they choose those 'lucky numbers?" I wonder if Google will solve that one for us! [grins]

That was a great laugh, thanks for sharing! What a nice bit of trivia to break out later. Who would have ever guessed that many forturne cookies NEEDED to be made in an hour, let alone that they could be made that quickly!

Been reading your blog awhile now and you have a lot of good information so pretty sure this fortune isn't true but funny. Thanks for the humor.

Came across your blog surfing some other real estate sites.

Enjoyed your most recent post and look forward to reading more in the future.

Thanks,

Your so funny, good to see a personal sense of humor on blogs, some people out there are just too serious...

Oh, look at that. The master has the advertisement for the company right there on his Ads by Google with a link to www.e-fortunecookie.com

I still think it's a neat idea - but, I am too cheap to supply the local chinese resturant with cookies. Has anyone else here done it and recommends it?

That is a riot.

I'm not superstitious, but....I got the same lottery number in two different fortune cookies from two different restaurants over a couple day period and I have been playing them ever since. I'll let you know if they ever pay off.

A few years ago I almost bought several cases of fortune cookies from a vendor to "give" to the local chinese resturants. I didn't do it but I do think it was a great idea to have cookies with "You will buy your dream house from Greg. and my website www.GregoryBain.com - can't seem to locate the vendor right now. But, I'll look around and if I do find them, I'll post to your blog. I think they were advertising in the Realtor mag and I was into marketing myself.

So did you play the numbers? Will you become a believer when your next fortune is "Everyone reads your blog!" - - because they do! Your are my inspiration for utilizing social media!

LOL This is tooooo funny! Love it!~

But I've never gotten such a depressing and mean fortune cookie! LOL

That is hilarious. But you've just proven that you can't put your trust in fortune cookies. :)

LOL! this is just one in a million cookie. good thing here is you captured it and post it here. Now, if thousands of people by chance got into your website and see this, they may think that fortune cookie is not true.

LOL! Oh that gave me a great chuckle! And I had no idea that many fortune cookies were made in an hour!

Oh that is so great! To think, of all the people to get that message in their fortune cookie, you would! I wonder how many were made with that message? And 8,000 cookies and hour? That is really impressive....
