Now I am inspired!

Jay,

Nice work, for a “realator”. <img

They will never debate you on facts and figures, only guesses. When their point doesn't hold water all they have left is that we'll all be out of a job.Well, nobody but me hired me for this job so I'm not looking over my shoulder for a boss that is looking to cut the workforce... but I get the feeling that many of the bubble boys are in that exact position themselves and just need to take it out on someone that is successful.

I love it when the bubble boys say things like we will all be out of a job in this industry. What I made light of is the media's "doom and gloom" reporting. I grow weary of it. It should be no suprise at all that prices are declining after a run-up like we had.As for investors, sorry, but anyone who bought into a 50% appreciation rate expecting it to continue isn't shrewd. One could go so far as to say that aren't very bright. Most true real estate investors grasped the simple facts and did very well. Many still do. It was really the greedy speculator that got burned. As for your concerns over my job security, fear not. I have a sneaking suspicion people will pretty much always be buying and selling real estate. And someone's got to help them through that.

Anon – I don’t really see where I made light of declining prices. Why is it that realators can't face the fact that the bubble has burst? Perhaps because you'll be out of a job soon?

Nice of you to make light of declining prices and “shrewd investors”.
