Thanks for sharing these golf course links in the area. The local newspaper (yes, I still get it delivered to my door) stated that another one (Ballamor) in our area filed for bankruptcy and will become a "public" daily fee course starting January 1.

Funny you should bring up golf. The local newspaper (yes, I still get it delivered to my door) stated that another one (Ballamor) in our area filed for bankruptcy and will become a "public" daily fee course starting January 1.Man, there are going to be a lot of MAD golfing snobs. The private course nearest to me was selling membership for $35,000 about 5 years ago ( I was invited to buy in – ha ha). Now, this latest bankruptcy course is going to go public with membership "associations" being sold for $495. One golf course community wants to close down some of its greens and built townhouses. I think the only thing stopping them (besides the home owners lawsuits) is the fact that townhouses are not selling very well right now.Do you play, Jay? Anything I hit has a mean right hook to it. Therefore, I don't play.
