I just want to know a thing...if so much description is provided about the house, I mean all the directions and locations, then why can't the buyer purchase it directly from the owner without going through the hectic (and demanding) agents' procedures??? I know sometimes its not possible, but say if it is possible then? At least one try can be given...

Also all these agents have their Property Management Software which help them to sell these very easily...we can get one this one as well..

The MLS is the single best way to get maximum exposure when selling a home. Most MLS databases are syndicated to all of the other sites where people search homes for sale. Zillow, Trulia, etc... So if you mess up the MLS listing, you mess up your chances of selling. Great points made in this post!

What drives me nuts is when multi-million dollar listings say "ask for directions at guard house". The lame Realtor can't even bother writing directions for a multi-million dollar listing?? How much more incentive does the guy need to do a half-decent job on the mls?

This, unfortunately, is not an atypical MLS listing.

It is our job to get the home sold, and it is our job to make it enticing and available so that buyers and agents will want to see the home. A home that has little or no description that is difficult to see, will generate little activity and few if any buyers. The buyers that are generated may not be those who will pay the highest price for the property.

We all have lives, and cannot realistically be available 24/7, but we can use the internet in lieu of our being available 24/7 and allow technology to provide the information for us if we'll only do the initial work necessary. What's the old saying, garbage in, garbage out? Our tools can't work for us, if we don't allow them to do so.
