In my freshman year at UT, I actually drove through Mesquite, Texas on the way to Tyler to meet some girl (way, WAY pre-Francy days). Back then, it was a sleepy little town on the outskirts of east Dallas. Looks like in the passing years, Dallas has pretty much assimilated it.
Apparently there was an elementary school built there in 1995:
What does this have to do with real estate?
Absolutely nothing.
I just thought it was funny. You, oh avid reader, probably not-so-much.
Now if we could just get a school named “Phoenix Real Estate Guy Elementary”, we’d be rockin’!

Funny you mention a girl and Tyler TX…been there myself, and for the same reason.
Wow Steve, Tyler’s not exactly a booming megaopolis. I wonder if…… nah, never mind.
Jay, did you look up the school report cards and see how your students are doing. Or is it just one of those party schools.
Hmmm…I think I’ll see how it fares on GoodSchools.net!
oops….Greatschools.net
Sorry, Jay it didn’t rate very good. No relfection on you of course!
@Howard – well if it was really named after me, we’d know the answer to your question!
@Julia – thanks for checking. I’ll have my people call their people.
Well, I think it’s a parking lot.
Jay,
There might be a time when there might be a “Phoenix Real Estate Guy School of Blogging at ASU”
