Got a ticket for that and then the officer added on to the ticket, this thing covering up the name of the state of Arizona at top of plate by the dealers frame on the plate. Can they do that?

Yeah, my son was stopped for rolling thru a stop sign. Makes me want to move to be certain Arizona does not recieve one more cent of my money!!! Its more important to keep drivers safe then to create a war type atmosphere or a police state enviroment on our drives home from work, I was even questioned where I was going after the citation for my clear plastic cover. I was treated like the Nazi's treated the prisioners while in line at a war camp. I felt the hate bigtime. It will take days to recover. We are loosing our freedoms people, wake up!! The big question is when all slowly but surely this freedom is taken then that one, etc..., etc... then what a passport for Canada, then maybe walls and no freedoms. Scarey isn't it??

Yes I agree I was feelin it this evening! Makes me want to move to be certain Arizona does not recieve one more cent of my money!!! I was pulled over this evening after a hard days work for a plastic license plate cover which I paid for to protect my tag, I removed the decorative frame as the law states, yes it is a red light cover but my license plate is clear and easy to see the full word Arizona and all the letters and numbers. I personally don't believe in traffic cameras they cause people to hesitate and panic to rush through the red lights to avoid a ticket. I was even told in traffic school two years ago that Arizona traffic lights are timed too fast due to the fact that there are too many cars on the road for the current system. So why don't we take this out on the drivers and ticket them. This system is causing people to get there tail caught in the red light while driving the speed limit. In fact you have to drive too slow or a little faster to not get a ticket because the lights are timed too fast not giving drivers adaquite stopping distance and time while driving at the posted speeds. This causes people to have accidents. Gee maybe this is why Arizona has the most traffic accidents in the United States. It is rediculous to have cameras and police on every corner intimidating good law obiding citizens. It is stressfull enough to drive. I always distance myself more than most in Arizona yet the light is green then with in two seconds red, not enough yellow time and distance as already mentioned. I am afraid that out country is loosing its cival rights and liberities. Maybe it is time to move out of this country before they lock us all in. Communism is already here wack up you lost at least 20 percent of your freedoms. I better get off the internet big brother is listening.

This may sound extreme to most in Arizona but I am a liberal raised back east and I believe in democracy and the constitution as well as freedom. I always thought that our peace officers were professionally trained to do their job efficiently and without error. This law is nothing but a slap in the face to our Police, Sheriff and DPS Officers! How about a law that makes sence like OUTLAWING cell phones while driving? Oh, maybe that makes to much sence!!!!!! DUH!!!

This has got to be the DUMBEST law of recent times! So stupid soccer moms can drive in the carpool lane with their 2 year olds counting as another occupant... but I can't have a license plate holder? Yeah that's right, i said stupid soccer moms. THose of you who are actually smart realize the point of the HOV lane is to reduce pollution and congestion... the passenger, should be someone who would have otherwise been driving and contributing to that. Your kid, as much as ya love her, can't reach the pedals yet, hun.

that is the worst law i ever heard of.
