Finally, another season gets under way. And the NFL is right around the corner…

OK, so this video is an ad for the Arena Football League, but it’s football, and it’s funny. The ending is classic.

Enjoy your Labor Day weekend, no matter who your favorite team (or league) is. Be safe!

LMAO. The “No kid, I’m Brett Farve” line is awesome. I don’t know how I missed that commercial before.

Jay – football season is awesome in Austin. Following UT is always great, but daughter’s school, Lake Travis High School, has one of the best 4A teams in the country. The guys won state last year and now have one of the top quarterbacks in the county – AND he has already committed to the Longhorns. By the way, LT will be on Fox Southwest this coming Thursday playing perenial powerhouse Westlake (5A). Now that’s exciting!

Since I’m from Philly area, I will be cheering for Penn State and the Eagles are starting to look better than last year. Looking forward to a fun season ahead.

Russell – I used to work with Paterno’s son years ago in the semiconductor manufacturing arena. Never met Joe Pa, but his son Dave was a nice guy.

It is hard to believe that it is already September and football season again. Where did the summer go. And football should be played outside, none of this arena stuff.
