The Odysseus Awards are posted at Bloodhound. As always, the quality is nothing short of amazing. The short list is pretty damn good too.

The site formerly known as Real***Genius.com hosted the 63rd edition of the Carnival of Real Estate. Jonathan Dalton, our cross-town friend and fellow non-owner of a Century 21 gold jacket took top honors with Gold Jacket?  Ummm… maybe. The honorable mentions are no slouches either.

Hey Jay,

Came across your blog via ThePropertyPundit.com . I was wondering if you had any (Phoenix) investment properties yourself?

Tim -

The short answer is yes. I don’t like to put a lot of detail as to my financial / investment situation in public. I am by *no* means even close to being a “real estate investor” for a living.

It may sound silly, but in several ways I see being a RE investor as a bit of a conflict of interest with my position as an agent. I do not want any of my clients to even remotely believe I have my eyes on properties they are considering.

Thanks for stopping by!
