New Real Estate FAQ, and HOW BOUT THOSE LONGHORNS!

Greetings and Happy New Year!

First, I must say CONGRATULATIONS to the University of Texas NATIONAL CHAMPION Football team!! As a former UT student, I must say that was one heck of a season, punctuated by a stunning game against USC. I only wish I was back in Austin the night they lit the UT tower in brilliant burnt orange…

That aside I wanted to let you, the avid readers of this blog, know that I’ve found a new geeky piece of software to play with. It’s an FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) manager that I’ve got running HERE.

There isn’t a whole lot there yet. But my plans for it are to make it a repository for the dozens of real estate related questions we get all the time. This should be a great place for people to get information. One of the things I like about this software is that users can pose (and even answer) questions. So please check it out, ask some questions, and let me know what you think!

I have mixed feelings about Vince Young entering the NFL. Part of me wishes the NFL didn't allow ANY underclassmen to enter the draft. On the other hand, who can blame Vince? He really has nothing left to prove in the college game. He led a national champion team through an undefeated season and had a historical last game against USC. His timing couldn't be better--"Vince mania" will probably put him higher in the draft than he would have gone otherwise. And of course, something he HAS to consider...injury. Imagine if he came back to UT next year and blew up his knee.

I'm looking forward to seeing him play in the NFL. He's an incredible athelete. I think the NFL coaches will be concerned about his funky throwing motion, but they can fix that. If I were an NFL coach/GM I'd seriously look into converting him into a running back. I don't know if Vince would even consider it, but he has the size and speed, and obviously has the talent. Not many NFL coaches are going to want their high paid QB running all over the place. And if Vince can't run all over the place, he's not going to be the same player.

The guy's a winner, and seems to have his head screwed on straight (Unlike Micheal Vick's brother... what's his name... Marcus? What a complete idiot that guy is!!). No matter what team or position Vince Young winds up at, he'll make an impact. It ought to be interesting!
