Wow! Those are really beautiful houses. I wonder if you also have a list of known haunted houses. I read somewhere that some of those known houses are for sale and people are really interested in buying them.

We have many in the Los Angeles area as well. What's fun is not just touring the homes, but socializing with the community. It's a great way to get to know people. We met a couple on a home tour and when we put our own house up for sale, that same couple put in a bid for our own historic home. It was only due to us telling them about our charming and older home that they wanted to see our home for themselves. They loved it. Unfortunately another bid came in higher than theirs. Still, friends were made on the tour and it was a fun day.

Jay, thanks for putting out the reminder about the historic home tours. I remember when they tried to get the Coronado Historic Home Tour going when I lived there. Glad to see that they managed to get one organized..

We have a tour here it Fort Collins, Colorado. It is put on the local historical society as a fundraiser.

A Historic home tour is a great idea. We have a few areas here in San Jose and Los Gatos California that would be perfect candidates. Would anyone have tips as to how I might go about implementing one for my clients and community? Your ideas would be appreciated.
