We recently upgraded our MLS search to the map-based solution provided by Diverse Solutions, and I’m loving it. Judging from the feedback we’ve received and the number of searches being conducted, so are the users searching for Phoenix homes.
I just installed a new toy over on the right side bar (just under the contact form). Using the Diverse Solutions “Featured Slider” module and a bit of PHP coding, readers are now presented with info, a photo and links to newly listed homes on the market. The PHP code does a little randomizing so that every time the page is refreshed, the module for a different part of town is presented.
I’m a geek, I think it’s cool.
My brain is rapidly filling with ideas to utilize more features Diverse Solutions offers and make searching for Phoenix homes even easier for our visitors.
Much more to come…

Jay, on behalf of all of us here at Diverse Solutions we are thrilled you love it and equally as important that the consumers enjoy there experience on your new IDX.
Hey Jay congrats on the new MLS data. I like that much better than the others I’ve seen and even used in the past. The biggest thing lacking in realty is the use of modern web technologies so it’s good to see you’ve got a lot of that functionality now.
I still don’t like they fact they iframe the data in, I really wish they’d supply an API to just pull the info onto your site but it’s a great start and like I mentioned, a lot better than what I’ve seen in the past.
Thx for the Phx Realty updates via twitter too – always good to have an inside guy

Jay, I am considering Wolfnet for their mapping search, but it is quite pricey. I hear the consumer results are better with the map base searches. I will check out Diverse solutions as well. Thanks.
Jay,
I love it as well. I tried to contact Diverse Solutions by email following your first post but did not get a response. ):
“Bling the Blog”? Something about that sounds so familiar…
Nice work Jay.
How did you do it? Do you mind spilling the beans?

Norm – I also emailed with no response. Finally went old tech and called to get pricing. Great job of integration with your site, Jay.
Isn’t Robert Luna the Sales Director? His grammar and spelling are atrocious! He writes with all of the expertise of a 10th grader. Also, it’s pretty alarming when two people state that they received no response to their inquiries from the company…not a good sign when one considers what the relationship will be once the credit card has been authorized. Tisk tisk!
Kris – I’m not sure of Robert’s exact title. But I can assure you, having met MANY vendors in the real estate space that he is one of the good guys.
I don’t pay Diverse Solutions for their spelling and grammar, I pay them to provide a rich IDX experience for my users. And that they do, better than anyone I’ve found. In the 10 months that have passed since this post was written, they’ve hired some people and I’ve found their customer service to be well above average.
Following up as one who complained about response, I agree with Jay that Diverse Solutions has improved. Highly recommend their product. I always get positive comments from users.
