Considering large cities like Houston and Los Angeles it is hard to believe we have 2 of the top 10 worst intersections here in Arizona. But if the numbers are true, they're true I suppose.

I moved to Lubbock TX last year. It's about the size that Phoenix was when I moved there in '64. Texas has some of the friendliest people in the world. But in this town at least, they are the worst drivers ever. As bad as Phoenix was, these people are even worse. The only bright spot is that there are a lot fewer drivers here.

LOL There are lies, damn lies, and then there is statistics...

You are absolutely right, you can prove whatever you want manipulating statistics. Governments are usually really bad at that. They measure wrong things, and they measure them wrong way. Results - government spend taxpayers money to collect all the raw data, and you can publicly see only flawed useless numbers...

Geez, that is really hard to swallow about Phoenix being a safe driving city. There are some really bad driver's. Some good ones too but I would not have expected this. Maybe they didn't include Mesa in those statistics.
