Video is the way to go.
Bandwidth is an issue possibly now but in a year or 2 shouldn't be.

Yes I agree that .TV may be a very big hit in the near future but it will face competition from other equally wonderful new TLDs such as .BIZ, .JOBS and .MOBI. There is also a certain company out there who is actively promoting .WS, saying that the abbreviation represents 'website'.

Video blogging, or "vlogging" is huge for sharing how to info; there is a great parenting resource of video blogs at http://www.newbaby.com, if that helps you come up with any ideas or topics that might branch out beyond real estate into just fun, general information for your fellow neighbors. Vlogging is fun because it lets your "readers" connect with you in a different way-hear your voice, see you in action, etc. Good luck; I'm sure you've got some great ideas for your video blogs!

I've started doing more video this year, including adding some video to my blogs. But, I'm not sure .tv is going to have a big impact.

I think the message is more important than the medium.
