Point 2 Agent Does it Again…

Right now, someone is thinking, “Geeze, there he goes again, plugging Point 2 Agent…”

And you’re right. I will freely admit that I am a big proponent of the Point 2 Agent system. This should not be a surprise to any who read this blog on even a semi-regular basis. I’ve blogged here about Point 2′s blogging platform, their NLS, and even their customer service.

Why do I keep blogging about Point 2 Agent? Well, because they keep rolling out new stuff. Frequently very innovative stuff. Always things that make their product better, stronger and faster.

One of the recent additions to the Point 2 Agent “system” (I don’t know what else to call it) is “RELiberation“.  What the heck is a RELiberation? In a nutshell, its’ a community blogging platform — the community of course being the Point 2 Agent Professional and Premium level members.

Here’s what RELiberation is in Point 2′s own words:

Introducing Your Real Estate Liberation Community – Reliberation.com

Reliberation is an open, inclusive, mastermind community of real estate bloggers – progressive thinkers who refuse to allow for the disintermediation of the real estate professional.

Reliberation, is by and for the real estate professional, and is a venue for forward-thinking bloggers to be heard and to present a unified front.

All Professional and Premium members are invited to contribute. Simply visit Reliberation.com, click ‘Sign In’, and log in using your Point2 credentials. You can start posting and commenting right away!

RELiberation is already filling up with some great content. People are actively commenting and contributing. There are some *stellar* “undiscovered” bloggers on there.

So even if you aren’t a Point 2 member, take a jaunt over to RELiberation and browse away.

And if you are interested in becoming a Point 2 member (as well you should be) then go here and see what they have to offer — including, but not limited to — free web sites, blogging, a FREE National Listing System, and more. Much more.

Full disclosure: I am a Point 2 Agent Authorized Distributor. I get a small referral pittance if you upgrade to a paying level. Trust me, I don’t do this for the residual payments. It covers a cup of Starbucks, barely. I do this because I believe in this system. Our business revolves around our Point 2 site, and I like to pass on things that work.

I'm a real estate broker in Phoenix, Arizona and the publisher of the Phoenix Real Estate Guy blog. I tend to drive too fast and scream at the University of Texas and Denver Broncos football teams. My two kids are smarter than most adults I know and my wife is simply amazing.

The Phoenix Real Estate Guy runs on AgentPress

AgentPress is a specialized WordPress theme for real estate agents and brokers, powered by the industry standard Genesis Framework. With AgentPress on your team, you're empowered to get the most out of WordPress for online marketing.

Genesis provides the secure and search-engine-optimized foundation that powers any successful website. And AgentPress provides the specific listing and lead-generation functionality real estate pros need to succeed.

We always appreciate your comments! Phoenix Real Estate Guy uses two commenting systems, Facebook and LiveFyre. LiveFyre is the most robust system (and easy to use!). It allows you to login with Twitter, Facebook, Google+ LinkedIn, OpenId, LiveFyre and as a "Guest". I recommend getting a LiveFyre account, it has some great features (just click the LiveFyre button when you write your comment).

BLOG COMMENT POLICY: We respectfully ask that you use your real name (first name only is fine) and not use keywords (Why no keywords?). The only real "comment rules" are be civil -- no personal attacks -- and no advertising. (See the full comment policy here). Opinion and debate are welcome, but attack the idea, not the person.

I'm a Point 2 user and have been since 2002. I have been a professional member but not currently. That is NOT Point 2 Agent's fault, simply that I found the Keller Williams system to be getting better and better, as well. And it's free to me.

I would advise anyone to set up a Point 2 website. Follow the trackback in the article and sign up, even if only for the free site. They are cutting edge and I'm likely to go back to them as a paying customer very soon.

Also, FYI, their customer service is terrific.

First, enjoy your classes. Pay attention!

Yes, the free level Point 2 Agent site is 100% free. No strings, no expiration, no "hard sell" to upgrade (though you should, IMHO).

You even get a URL for free. it would be something along the lines of joncooper.point2agent.biz and is perfectly functional. I do strongly suggest getting your own domain name though. They can be purchased through Point 2's Domain Store ($8.95/year I believe) or any other domain registrar (such as Godaddy, or a plethora of others). Point 2 will even point it to your site for free, even if you don't register the name through them (though the pointing process is slightly simpler if you go through their domain store).

$39.95/month for the Professional level is dirt cheap advertising/marketing. And a web site is a *must have* for every real estate agent.

Oh, and no set up fees or long term contracts with P2. Watch out for that with other providers...

Good luck in the business!

Thanks for posting this. I'm still taking my real estate licensing classes. I know I'll need a web site, but I haven't been able to pick which one yet. This is helpful! I figure, why not try it?

But, is it REALLY free? Don't I need a web name? Does the free level "expire" at some point leavig me webless unless I start paying?
