I actually like this show! Too many "real estate shows" are *completely* unrealistic -- you know the type... super agent shows three homes to Mr. and Mrs. Beaver Cleaver, they by one and live happily ever after. Or a listing agent has an open house and gets three full price offers.... Real Estate Confidential shows the good, the bad, and the ugly at times. Yeah, some of it's a little over the top, but over all it does a pretty good job of demonstrating "real life" real estate. We've got it on a TiVo season pass. HGTV has come out with a show called Bought and Sold featuring the tough market in New Jersey, pretty much the same premise, but I feel this show has a lot more beef than this one. It shows the process of house hunting, even the crazy antics of one broker who goes so far as to hire opera singers at a showing of a multi-million dollar home. He cracks me up.
