I agree that you have to capture a buyer’s interest in a short period of time. Our video tours are 2-3 minutes long for two reasons…attention span and bandwidth. If you are interested in having a professional video tour with voiceover narration, check us out. We have a great product at a very reasonable price.

I guess I’m no different in this case – didn’t like the second video. I care less about the amateur video (if I’m interested in a property I wanna see whatever they’ve got ), but 8 minutes of classical music and that voice on the background is killing every desire to keep watching it.

I like videos where they have a list/table of contents and you can jump at any time within the video while it’s playing to any section. This way you can structure your presentation the way you want it and people will be able to jump to the outside views at the end and watch 8.5 minutes of it and listen to the classical music if they feel like it. The coolest thing about such feature – it’s all within the same video – it’s not like you have to play different videos if you wanna see a kitchen and then the living room – it’s all in the same movie.

Cindi’s video is clearly creative. If I had a home to list, her video would get me to call and speak to her … and surely she would get a listing if she is half as good on the phone as she is via her video.

I’m not as down on #2 as everyone else. I only made it a bit of the way in, but I have to give them credit for effort.

Make it stop. #2 was truly boring. It proves that a Flip in the wrong hands may be dangerous. the only one worse is one I saw on Real Estate Radio. It sounded and looked like a funeral dirge.

After somewhat of a bad week, I just LMAO!!! Love #1. Having grown up somewhat near #2, not so impressed. I had to quit before entering the house, I was dizzy.

Good post. I liked the idea, but execution sucked, agreed. Video listings will be in our future, but memories are very short and when the market comes roaring back, people will get lazy again since easy money will flow from everywhere. It completely sucks, but that is just the way it is. Video will become mandatory when everyone is doing it and it is like being on the MLS – a must have…thx http://www.financialanalysisguy.com

My dilemma before which type is how to quickly upload video – I am on hour #4 of a youtube 1 minute video from my Canon Digital camera – that’s a major stumbling block to doing more video (time) – got rave reviews for the new Flip Camera – any thought or feedback? Thanks
