Real Estate Weblogging 101: Book of the Week

by Jay - The Phoenix Real Estate Guy on June 21, 2007 · 6 comments

in Blogging / Social Networking, Real Estate, Site of the Week

I've never picked a Site of the Week that's only been online for a few hours….

Greg Swann and company have released a new … site… blog….. I actually think it's more of a book really - Real Estate Weblogging 101. An eBook of sorts, though a more apropos term might be BlogBook (HT to Richard Riccelli for the cool word!).

The BlogBook is jammed full of great info for the real estate blogging novice, or expert. Culled from some of the brilliant work on BloodhoundBlog by such contributors as Greg, Teri Lussier, Kris Berg, Brian Brady and Allen Butler, it offers not so much a "recipe" for weblogging, but thoughts and ideas for what is, and can be done, with a real estate blog.

Putting a book about blogging on a blog itself is one of those "duh moments". It seems such an obvious thing that I'm surprised there aren't a bazillion BlogBooks already out there. But Real Estate Weblogging 101 is the only one I'm aware of. While the format is wicked cool, it's the content that makes it shine. Go there. Browse. Learn.

Greg's take

Others opine: Realtor Genius, AZ Mortgage Guru, The Real Estate Bloggers, LenderamaReal Central VA, Brian Brady on AR, Bring The Blog, Mike's Corner, Realtor Wives, Inman Blog

I figure there will be a ton of blog books out as well. I even think they will be specific to a business like real estate or mortgages etc.
