I did not know her personally but I am also a student at Highland. This is such a tragic accident and it just makes me get teary eyed thinking about it. I am 16 and driving out there and it just makes me sit back and think about how precious life is and that it can be over just like that. I wish I could help make the pain less for her family and friends. It is definately very tragic. I lost a friend a few years ago, not to a drunk driving accident, but it was still very hard.
