Francy's brother has passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a terrific guy, a wonderful brother, husband and father, and we will miss him.
What a horrible, insidious disease. It wrecks havoc on too many lives. There are ways to help fight this monster. You can of course donate, but there are other options too — you can participate in fund raising events and volunteer your time.
We're in the Salt Lake area for services. Obviously the blog takes a backseat for the next few days.
Godspeed Tom.

2I’m sorry to hear it Jay and Francy. Our thoughts are with you in this time of loss. Our Heavenly Father has a big plan for us I’m sure but it doesn’t make it any easier when our plan for our time here is done.

3I lost a parent to cancer as well. It is very difficult to watch them suffer as long as they do. Salt Lake is pretty cold and wet right now, make sure you come prepared.

6So sorry for your loss. My mother passed away from cancer several years ago and I know that terrible feeling. Just last year it took my father-in-law. I think this disease has touched everyone.
