Spring has Arrived in Phoenix!

Five weeks ago on January 4th, I posted that Fall had arrived in Phoenix. That post included this picture:

Today I am pleased to announce that Spring has arrived in Phoenix!

Higley Groves Spring Trees

The trees are beginning to leaf out, blue skies and fluffy clouds are back.

Five weeks of a brutal fall season are over.  Twice there was even a layer of frost on the cars in the morning!

Yeah, we pretty much skipped winter. That’s how we roll in Phoenix. . .

We always appreciate your comments! Phoenix Real Estate Guy uses two commenting systems, Facebook and LiveFyre. LiveFyre is the most robust system (and easy to use!). It allows you to login with Twitter, Facebook, Google+ LinkedIn, OpenId, LiveFyre and as a "Guest". I recommend getting a LiveFyre account, it has some great features (just click the LiveFyre button when you write your comment).

BLOG COMMENT POLICY: We respectfully ask that you use your real name (first name only is fine) and not use keywords (Why no keywords?). The only real "comment rules" are be civil -- no personal attacks -- and no advertising. (See the full comment policy here). Opinion and debate are welcome, but attack the idea, not the person.

Today is the first day of spring and here in Nova Scotia it is still negative 2 degrees centigrade(about 26F) but business is starting to pick up and the birds are starting to chirp. Here's to a great and prosperous spring to all!

That's why we live in Arizona, and that's why people are and will continue to move to Arizona.

Wow! I cannot believe it is so gorgeous there already. It is still freezing cold here in Tulsa!

Well up here in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. We still have plenty of snow on the ground. What did you expect? : ) I can't say that i'm not a tad bit jealous. Enjoy.

what Jay neglects to mention is that those of us who suffer sinus allergies have known it's spring for about 3 weeks now, because the sneezing won't stop. Pass the Sudafed and dose up everyone!

See...environment really can somehow ease our burden. Mere looking at your pictures already has a cooling effect. At least the snow has been "blewn off". LOL

Norm - I actually thought about you and all my friends in Saskatoon when I wrote this. Give me 4 months and I'll be whining about how hot it is...

Hate you, just a little bit. :)

I was doing a little Phoenix Real Estate surfing for a friend who is relocating and I just landed up here... funny the ice just melted off my driveway here in NJ. It was 4 inches thick for a solid month during your "fall" season. Now I could use a little more of your fine Arizona weather... already looking to visit my friend when he relocates to AZ. Cheers -

Kirsten - there is an easy way to fix that jealousy thing.... buy yourself a winter home in Phoenix! I know some really good agents that could help you. ;)
