Then again, if someone was looking for Hooters, why not just type in Hooters? Maybe someone researching the origin of the slogan for a marketing class? Oh well, anyone looking for Hooters real estate will find this blog now.

I had no idea that was the Hooters slogan, but I looked it up and there it was. Note though we are going for "refined". Guess I don't pay attention to the slogan when I visit the local Hooter's. For the wings. FOR THE WINGS!Hilary - well thanks, and I'm honored to have you visit here. Yes, we have a LOT of Canadian buyers here! Closing on one today and showing with another this afternoon. I've got a picture of a Loonie somewhere on this blog. Several Canada related posts. We love our friends from the north!Phil -- I always wondered why people call into radio shows and say "Long time listener, first time caller".... Don't be a stranger! Stop by more often! :) And yes, it never ceases to amaze me how quickly something written here can be indexed in Google. I usually get a Google alert on a new post within 10 minutes. Comments sometimes seem to take a couple of hours.

Lane – I really wasn’t aware that the Hooter’s slogan is “delightfully tacky yet UNrefined”. I stop by every now and then, but have never commented (I don't know why I feel obligated to open with that). But as I am learning this wonderful world of blogging, it's amazing to me that a comment like Jason Brown's has that much power with search engines. It's a crazy blogging world we live in!

Jay,<br

I live in Florida and not sure they ever left. People love the pink flamingo, the dolphin, the manatee and have lawn ornaments with them. One funny thing you can do is when someone has a birthday you can hire a company and they come put the birthday person age on a sign and that many flamingo's in the yard. Very funny to see 83 flamingos grazzing on a lawn.

Those pink flamingo’s are definately back in. I live in Florida and not sure they ever left.
