in Streets of Phoenix

Welcome to the latest edition of The Streets of Phoenix. Today we go to Val Vista Lakes, a Master Planned Community located in Gilbert, Arizona…

Of note: This video was shot in late October, so some of the listing numbers are slightly off. There are currently 9 condos and 43 single family homes listed in Val Vista Lakes. Prices range from $150,000 to $1,395,000 — and all points in between.

You can search all listed Val Vista Lakes homes and condos below, or go straight to the dedicated Val Vista Lakes Homes Search page.

Maybe this is because I’m not an real estate agent but doesn’t 100k – 1 million price range seem like a very large difference in prices for one neighborhood?

Jay – Very nice! Exactly how does one drive and shoot video at the same time? :)

I like these videos they give outsiders a view into what Phoenix homes and neighborhoods look like. I need to start working some of these up for Tucson neighborhoods

Hey Jay, I think I have the solution for the shooting video while driving. Do not lose too much weight on the RE Biggest Losers, so your pants will not fall down — bad news in a residential area especially with the scruffy beard — so then you take your belt off and strap that camera to your head!

But seriously, it is great to see these videos, and really reminds me of how the style of homes in Phoenix are so similar to the ones I used to sell in Florida. Texas homes are so different…and even bigger. Also was hoping I was going to be seeing the sequel to “Wedding Crashers” being shot.

Jay,
Funniest one yet. Not sure they’ll let you pony up to the open bar until you can invest in a razor LOL. Also, just for safety sake, here is a cool devise that will let you drive and talk without holding the video cam. http://www.filmtools.com/cleatsuccamm.html

Blessings-

Jay this gives a nice street view of the area and for someone who is not in Phoenix(CA) it really gives you a nice and easy view of the street as you would travel it.

Especially for someone unfamiliar with the area the combination of video, narration of the street boundaries, and the map of the area it makes it easy to see how it all fits together.

My brother and I did this with condos in our area and will be adding some more videos as we see the response on your site.

Are you holding the camera or did you have it attached somewhere in the car? You did a great job of keeping the shaking to a minimum! And you did a great job of showing off the neighborhoods and streets-what a lovely area!

It is indeed a large difference, and somewhat unusual. Val Vista Lakes is huge, and broken out into several “neighborhoods”. Homes in gated areas and lakeside homes tend to tip the high end of the scale. Off-water homes and other sections are the lower priced ones.

That’s one of the things I like about VVL — there is something for almost everyone.

Shouting a video about the area is a good idea. When I see a picture of a house and wonder, if it is really as spacious as it seems and neighbourhood really as good as described? I can’t deny that video gives a broader picture. Thank you.
