108 degrees on Monday? Ugh.
But at least it’s a dry heat. 
Actually, that does make a difference. But let’s face it, 108 is hot, dry or not. (Hey, I’m a poet!)
As I write this, it’s 9:50am and and 92 officially, 94 on my back porch.
Not much one can do though. Crank up the air conditioning and/or jump in the pool.

Summer has come way too quickly to parts of the southwest Nevada included but you are right I would rather be in a dry heat than be hot and sticky. Our weather here in Las Vegas is going to be much the same as yours.
Thanks a lot Jay (insert frown here), I was doing very well avoiding the forecasts. Until now, now I know we are heading for an early summer if it truely ends up being 108 on Monday. Ugh!
Not that I mind summer’s here though, I’ve lived here since 1978 and am one of the few who actually looks forward to it’s arrival. Mostly because summer brings with it my very favorite, The Monsoon. Thunderstorms like no other place I’ve ever lived as far as the natural beauty goes.
Well everyone, it’s time to get your annual check up on your home A/C units and get that pool in tip top condition so we can all enjoy summer here in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Thanks for mentioning my summer energy savings article. 108 sounds pretty warm, even with low humidity. We will soon see heat in the 90’s, and with humidity it probably feels like 100+ degrees.
I lived in Vegas for 2 months durring the summer and at midnight it was 100/ dry heat. One day my friend and I walked out of our apt and across the parking lot, a dry breeze came by and blew one of his contacts out of his eyes.
It might be dry, but so is an oven.

Wow and I thought it gets hot here in Tampa Florida. I think we get a lot more humidity which feels so much hotter but never really gets above 95.
Although its hot, at least its not humid. Here, its so darn frickin humid, it sticks to your body. And after a few hours, you just can’t take it, you’ll badly need a bath.
We are still cold, sitting around 60 degrees. I am wearing a sweatshirt currently and debating turning up the heat.
