Last Thursday the U.S. Census Bureau released local-level demographic data from the 2010 census for Arizona (along with five other states bringing the total number of states with data released so far to 18). Real Estate Charts of the Day: Phoenix Listing Inventory Dropping, Sales Rising

The number of Phoenix homes for sale is dropping. Rapidly. The chart above shows that inventory of active listings has steadily declined since November 2010. Active listings in June were 30,614, down from 45,836 in November 2010 and well off the peak inventory of 58,195 in November 2007.
