Today the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Stimulus Bill. It now moves to the Senate, where a vote is expected around 7:00pm Eastern time tonight. Update: Saturday Feb 14 -- here is an article with a chart highlighting the changes in the first time home buyers tax credit. It is expected to be signed into law by Feb 16. Latest Update Feb 11, 7:00pm - Reader hagfish digs this up from Bloomberg (Thanks hagfish!): Bloomberg reports the proposed $15,000 tax credit for homebuyers was reduced to $8,000 according to Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus, a Montana Democrat. Is the $15K tax credit for home buyers that is in the Senate’s version of the Stimulus Bill in jeopardy?
