I saw a post somewhere about SketchCast, darned if I can remember where though… would like to give them a “hat tip”.

It seems like it’s got some potential.

WARNING! What follows might possibly be the most boring “video clip” in the history of the internet. Better will follow. It can only get better…

This is a great demo of the potential:

  • I think you saw this on geekestate :)
    http://www.geekestateblog.com/a-new-quicker-way...
  • I want the three minutes of my life back ...

Kevin Boer mentioned it a while back and Kris Berg (naturally) had one of the more entertaining posts using it.
  • GeekEstateBlog, that was it! (duh, being a contributor there you'd think I'd have remembered it...)

    Jonathan - you were warned....

I think it's cool. And could be useful for explaining some tricky concepts that are difficult to put into words.
  • Thank Jay. What is next, the paint drying YouTube Video?
  • There was a classic visual/audio show to convey precisely the kind of things that was intended. The first amateurish first attempt, the second more experienced version and presto, in about three minutes, the message has been conveyed!
  • I didn't read the warning. :-(
  • I read the warning and fortunately took heed....lol
Very interesting...I'm going to Sketchcast.com now to learn more...thanks
