Well, I believe that it has to be about the quality and not the quantity of blogging that should really matter. If this form of public forum is to continue to thrive and achieve real meaning of expression, then rather promoting sensational feats of who did the most in the given time, how about some competition that raises the level of articulation and excellence in commentary and reporting.

Rick – I agree. Given that this “event” occurred over 2.5 years ago, when real estate blogging was pretty much in its infancy, I think it was a good thing at the time. It brought a lot of awareness to real estate blogging.

And the quality of posts that both Greg and Ardell did in those 24 hours was well above average, all things considered. Better all the way around than many posts you’ll read today, in real estate or elsewhere…
