Ann Brenhoff of the LA Times has a good article out today on real estate blogging.
Lots of my RE.net buddies got a mention, congrats to all! Lar, T, Athol, Greg, Kris, Dustin, Josh, Diane, Marlow. Yep even Ben and Debi, a couple of fine upstanding “bubbleheads” (no offense intended!)
Brenhoff does a nice job balancing the agent blogs with the bubble blogs.
The next time you see Kris Berg, just call her Erma…
Hat tip to Mike at Bonzai.

Nice to see a fair number of re bloggers mentioned. Congrats to all.
Would like to have seen more. For example, how about Jay?
Here is a question – Do more people read the real estate section of the LA times than read the blogs of say just those mentioned in the article?
The relevance of newspapers to reach the masses diminishes daily…
Dustin already mentioned the LA times article in his blog 4realz.net.
I am sure the others mentioned will be doing the same shortly.
Will the bloggers actually send more traffic to the LA Times article than vice versa?
If not, I think that day is coming.

I suspect that day is here Louis. I know a lot of folks reading here clicked on the LA Times link. And traffic here on Sunday’s is typically the lowest of the week.

Yep. I found the article through the link on Dustin’s site. Oh, and don’t feel bad for Jay. At the Inman NYC bash, I spent three days watching people point and squeal, “There’s the Phoenix Real Estate Guy’s and… some chick who won’t quit clinging to his coat tail.” I distinctly remember some muckety-muck accepting Jay’s business card and announcing “I know you!” When I gave him my card, all I got was a “Whatever” look. Now I know how Gladys Knight’s Pips must have felt.
Erma, you are one funny gal…
