The Weather

==========

Is it hot or what?

Noticed that we’ve been under an “extreme heat warning” the past couple of days.

What does that mean? Do I really need the weather service to tell me I should stay inside? Today’s high was 116 degrees. I don’t need anyone telling me that it’s hot outside.

The other day it got up to 113. We didn’t have an “extreme heat warning” that day. So I guess 113 isn’t “extreme” but 116 is. 3 degrees doesn’t really seem to make all that much difference. I thought it was kinda toasty at 113 too….

The water in my pool is up to 93 degrees. A few more days of this 115+ stuff and I’ll have a big giant hot tub in my back yard.

I can hardly wait.

We always appreciate your comments! Phoenix Real Estate Guy uses two commenting systems, Facebook and LiveFyre. LiveFyre is the most robust system (and easy to use!). It allows you to login with Twitter, Facebook, Google+ LinkedIn, OpenId, LiveFyre and as a "Guest". I recommend getting a LiveFyre account, it has some great features (just click the LiveFyre button when you write your comment).

BLOG COMMENT POLICY: We respectfully ask that you use your real name (first name only is fine) and not use keywords (Why no keywords?). The only real "comment rules" are be civil -- no personal attacks -- and no advertising. (See the full comment policy here). Opinion and debate are welcome, but attack the idea, not the person.

My buddy just moved back from AZ. He was telling me pretty much the same thing as you mentioned in this post. That is ridiculous! 116 degrees is nuts. I dont think I've experienced the "dry heat" before though since I am no where near a desert. At least we always have the breeze on the Cape!

Thanks for the comment Dave. If you scroll down the blog, you'll see posts on FSBO's, rising land values, the condominium market, and the the housing inventory situation in the Phoenix area. It seems to me that those would fall "under the professed topic of this sight".

Sometimes I do post non-real estate things. Sometimes I just feel like commenting on non-real estate things. Some might even argue that the weather IS real estate related. We have a LOT of out-of-state buyers and investors interested in the Phoenix area, and one of the most common questions I get from someone not around here is "how hot does it really get?"

I appreciate your visiting my blog, and hope you'll return and find something of value. if you have a suggestion for a post, let me know!

Why don't you post something about Arizona real estate? While the weather is sortof interesting, it seems that there are a number of things you could talk about that would more accurately fall under the professed topic of this sight.
