Todd Kaufman Assessor Gets a Letter from the Western States Constitutionalist Alliance

Todd Kaufman, Assessor for Loudoun County Virgina, received a letter from Val H. Starr, National Chairman for The Western States Constitutionalist Alliance.

In the letter to Todd Kaufman Assessor, Starr states:

To the matter at issue, our Constitutional Watch Dog Committee, has examined the blog publications of Mr. Danilo Bogdanovic, a realtor in Loudoun County regarding the assessment of taxes on “real property” in your county. His assertions appear to be a point of view, and a request to your office to “address a grievance”. We have also reviewed your response to Mr. Bogdanovic, which can only be read as “threatening”, “harassment”, and sophomoric, totally unbecoming a public official.

Sound familiar? It’s pretty much the same thing we (and others) have said.

Kudos to The Western States Constitutionalist Alliance!

You can see the entire letter at Danilo’s blog. The WSCA also issued a press release, which you can read in Danilo’s blog as well.

It shouldn’t be too much longer before Todd Kaufman’s own Loudoun County Assessor’s website is relegated to page 2 on Google for search terms like Todd Kaufman Assessor. (It was at #10 before this post.)

We always appreciate your comments! Phoenix Real Estate Guy uses two commenting systems, Facebook and LiveFyre. LiveFyre is the most robust system (and easy to use!). It allows you to login with Twitter, Facebook, Google+ LinkedIn, OpenId, LiveFyre and as a "Guest". I recommend getting a LiveFyre account, it has some great features (just click the LiveFyre button when you write your comment).

BLOG COMMENT POLICY: We respectfully ask that you use your real name (first name only is fine) and not use keywords (Why no keywords?). The only real "comment rules" are be civil -- no personal attacks -- and no advertising. (See the full comment policy here). Opinion and debate are welcome, but attack the idea, not the person.

"Anonymous" - First, continued placement of nothing but a live URL in multiple comments across multiple blog posts as an anonymous user is spamming, which I don't tolerate on my blog. So I've left the URL active on one of your comments and will make it inactive on this and any others you post. The readers here are plenty bright enough to find your blog without having it linked across multiple posts.

Since you refuse to leave an email address, you can't subscribe to comments, so I'll post the response I left in another comment -- I just want to be sure you see it:

I was going to comment directly on your blog, but I'm not going to create a LiveJournal account just to do that, so I'll say it here.

1) At least those who have been posting about Todd Kaufman's outrageous behavior are using their names and aren't hiding behind the anonymity of the Internet.

2) The fact that the Western States Constitutionalist Alliance web site "looks like shit" really has nothing to do with anything. But if it makes you feel better to attack someone's grammar or website appearance, knock yourself out. The mentality of your attacks match up rather well with the mentality of Todd Kaufman's attacks.

3) Not everyone that has written about these events contributes to Bloodhound Blog. When you say "All Bashes Against Todd Kaufman from Same Sources" you are completely incorrect. Yes, some of us contribute to a blog, but we are all individuals. Yes, real estate bloggers in general are a pretty tight knight group. And when one of us is attacked, we all tend to respond. What is your point?

Mr. Kaufman is entitled to say whatever he wants. But in my opinion, the guy is a complete jerk -- a pompous arrogant ass. Likely he feels the same way about me. I could care less.

Thank you for adding to the material on the Internet about Mr. Kaufman. Your blog, despite your feeble attempt to defend Mr. Kaufman, will likely help contribute to the Loudoun County Assessors website free fall in Google.

If I may ask just one question, why are you afraid to say who you are? Your defense of Todd Kaufman Assessor loses a lot of credibility if you aren't even willing to identify yourself.

Jay's note: The same "anonymous" user is leaving comments containing nothing but a live URL across multiple posts on this blog. This is clearly spamming, and I loath spamming. I left the first link live, but have disabled this one (and will disable any in the future).

Yall are bright enough to figure out how to get to this blog, which appears to be some sort of attempt to defend Todd Kaufman, Loudoun County VA Assessor.
