Upcoming Real Estate Web / Blogging Conferences

I'll be attending all of these festivities. I would enjoy meeting anyone out there who will also be attending.

Inman's Real Estate Connect / Bloggers Connect

January 9 – 11, New York City

I'll be on a panel at Bloggers Connect discussing "Brush Up Your Netiquette: Blogosphere's Best Practice". Feel free to stop by! Just save the sack of rotting tomatoes to throw at someone else.

For more info on Bloggers ConnectFor more info on the entire conference.

If anyone is "going solo" and wants to split a room, let me know! (Priced a hotel in Times Square lately?) I'll be there on Tuesday, leaving Friday afternoon.

Realtor's Conference and Expo

November 13 – 16, Las Vegas

The lovely bride and I will be in attendance. We're staying in Paris (the hotel, not the city). Will be working some in the Point2 Agent booth, so stop by and give us a shout.

For more info

BLOGGERS NOTE!!  Daniel Rothamel (The Real Estate Zebra) is trying to organize a Blogger Con at the convention. He's working with NAR and his state association to get some space. Join the Facebook Group! It would be great to have a good showing for this. We need to demonstrate to the NAR how important blogging is to many of us.

Point2 Agent Phoenix Users Group.

November 7, Phoenix, AZ

This will be a great opportunity for Phoenix area Point2 users (or those curious about it) to meet the Point2 Agent COO up close and personal.

For more info.

As of this morning, we had 69 people registered to attend. The conference is free, registration is just to get headcount numbers.

If you're planning to attend any of these events and want to meet face-to-face, drop a comment or and email and we'll work it out!

We always appreciate your comments! Phoenix Real Estate Guy uses two commenting systems, Facebook and LiveFyre. LiveFyre is the most robust system (and easy to use!). It allows you to login with Twitter, Facebook, Google+ LinkedIn, OpenId, LiveFyre and as a "Guest". I recommend getting a LiveFyre account, it has some great features (just click the LiveFyre button when you write your comment).

BLOG COMMENT POLICY: We respectfully ask that you use your real name (first name only is fine) and not use keywords (Why no keywords?). The only real "comment rules" are be civil -- no personal attacks -- and no advertising. (See the full comment policy here). Opinion and debate are welcome, but attack the idea, not the person.

Why would anyone want to go to a convention in Las Vegas? :P I won't make it to New York, although I would like to visit Ground Zero. Have fun at the convention..oh, and I highly recommend the Caeasar's Palace buffet.

I will be in NYC and in Las Vegas for NAR. Hope to meet the people behind the blog.

Jay,

Thanks for the plug. I'll see you in Vegas (and probably in NYC, too).

I'll be there and am really looking forward to meeting you. :)

Brush Up Your Netiquette: Blogosphere's Best Practice". Can we expect a write up on your return for those who will not attend?

Thanks Max - for reading, the birthday wishes and setting the bar for all of us on Phoenix real estate web search rankings!

John - thanks, I suspect I will!

Congratulations on making it to the panel of the Inman Real Estate Connect! And by the way - Happy Birthday!

I've been a lurker on your blog for awhile. Good job, I enjoy it. Matt and I are not gonna make it to NY (we're not much of bloggers yet), but we'll sure be at the PubCon in Las Vegas this December.

Again Happy Birthday and thanks for your musings :)

I'm planning to stay for the duration of the conference, however I'm sure I'll work in some sight-seeing as well. I must visit "ground zero". I lived in Brooklyn, NY for two years when I was a kid and saw many of the standard sights -- Empire State building, Statue of Liberty, UN, etc. So I don't feel as compelled to see those things.

I heard really good things about the Connect in San Fransisco. I'm sure this one will be equally as good.

I'm excited about participating and look forward to meeting you!

Ok I re-read and you are going to stay for the entire event. I'll ponder the situation lol

I look forward to meeting you there..and of course attending your 'Netiquette' workshop. I was trying to decide if I would attend the entire conference but I think not. Are you? I will probably stay and visit friends and enjoy NYC a bit though! Back on topic: The blogger connect schedule looks interesting. Especially now that I have the skinny on one of the presenters!
