Upcoming Speaking Engagements: Chandler Chamber of Commerce and Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors

I love to talk. About pretty much anything. But ask me to speak about blogging and you may find I have trouble shutting up…

I’m honored to have been asked to speak at two local events this month. If you’re in the area, they may be worth checking out. Unfortunately, they both have (small) registration fees.

Chandler CoC logoThe Chandler Chamber of Commerce is holding their Technology Corner Seminar Series — What is a Blog, How Do You Use it. (not real estate specific)

April 10, 11:30am – 1:30pm
Chandler Chamber Office
25 S. Arizona Place, Suite 201
Chandler, AZ. 85225

$5.00 for members, $10.00 for non-members. RSVP required. Includes deli-style lunch and beverage.

SAAR logoThe Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors is holding a Technology Symposium.

April 25, 8:00am – 12:30pm
Chaparral Suites Ballroom
5001 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, AZ

$20 before April 15, $25 after that. $30 at the door (space permitting)

Keith Garner, Managing Director of the NAR’s Center for Realtor Technology is the “Special Guest Speaker”. (He’s also looking to meet with some Phoenix area blogging / tech type agents for breakfast on the 26th. Comment if you’re interested and I’ll let you know…)

The Phoenix Real Estate Guy runs on AgentPress

AgentPress is a specialized WordPress theme for real estate agents and brokers, powered by the industry standard Genesis Framework. With AgentPress on your team, you're empowered to get the most out of WordPress for online marketing.

We always appreciate your comments! Phoenix Real Estate Guy uses two commenting systems, Facebook and LiveFyre. LiveFyre is the most robust system (and easy to use!). It allows you to login with Twitter, Facebook, Google+ LinkedIn, OpenId, LiveFyre and as a "Guest". I recommend getting a LiveFyre account, it has some great features (just click the LiveFyre button when you write your comment).

BLOG COMMENT POLICY: We respectfully ask that you use your real name (first name only is fine) and not use keywords (Why no keywords?). The only real "comment rules" are be civil -- no personal attacks -- and no advertising. (See the full comment policy here). Opinion and debate are welcome, but attack the idea, not the person.

We have breakfast set up. Contact Jay or myself for details about where/when.

Jay

Would love to hear you speak. Am thinking about some seminars for HomeGain agents on how to blog, cultivate leads and to be a good realtor in general.

Perhaps we can work something out where you can share your expertise either live or through webinars.

Hi Jay,

Let me know about the 26th- I will try and make arrangements for an alternative taxi service for my son to get to school :) I would like to go to the breakfast.
